Cold Ozone Plasma at a glance
Cold Ozone Plasma is oxygen-based. When the device ionises oxygen, it generates a high concentration of reactive oxygen species. Ozone (O3) is the dominant active component.
The probe hovers just above the skin surface, delivering these reactive species through a fine air gap. Nothing physically touches the skin.

Hyper Plasma still stays non-thermal and gentle, but it works at a slightly higher intensity than Cold Ozone Plasma. The plasma stream is denser and the action on the skin leans more regenerative than purely calming.

When clients ask about cold ozone plasma vs hyper plasma, the honest answer is that it depends on where your skin is right now.
If you are in the middle of a flare, breakout or active reaction, the answer is almost always Cold Ozone Plasma first. Going straight in with Hyper Plasma on inflamed skin can amplify the existing reaction. Skin that is already overstimulated does not need more stimulation. It needs calming. A typical pathway might look like:

- Hyper Plasma sessions introduced once the skin is calm. This is where we start rebuilding strength, refining texture, and supporting longer term skin resilience.
- Ongoing maintenance, which can be either modality depending on how the skin behaves over time.
Some clients move through this sequence quickly. Others take longer, especially if the skin has been very compromised. There is no rush. The protocol moves at the pace your skin can handle.

What to expect from each treatment
Both treatments are short, comfortable and have minimal downtime, but the experience of each feels slightly different.
Cold Ozone Plasma: You will likely feel a cool, soft sensation as the probe moves over the skin. A faint clean scent may drift through the room, which is the ozone. Afterwards, expect mild warmth or pinkness that settles within hours. For inflammatory conditions, a temporary uptick before settling is normal and expected.
Hyper Plasma: You will feel a light tingling or warming sensation as the plasma stream contacts the skin. The probe glides gently across the surface. Afterwards, expect mild redness for a few hours, sometimes a slight tightness or dryness as the skin recalibrates. Most clients return to their normal routine immediately.
