Cold Plasma & Hyper Plasma Aftercare

(Cold atmospheric plasma, ozone plasma, Hyper Plasma on face, body and scalp)

Cold and Hyper Plasma treatments focus on calming inflammation, sterilising bacteria and strengthening the skin barrier. They have minimal downtime and are often used on sensitive or reactive skin, acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.

Most clients leave a little pink, then quickly feel calmer, cooler and less itchy or congested.

At a glance

  • Downtime: Very minimal
  • Key rules: Keep it simple for 24 to 48 hours, no harsh actives, SPF daily
  • Ideal for: Acne, rosacea, inflammatory skin conditions, barrier support, hair and scalp health

Right after treatment

What you will notice

  • Skin may look slightly pink or flushed
  • Many people feel an immediate sense of calm and “freshness”
  • Acne areas can look a little drier as bacteria load drops

Care

  • Leave the skin product free for a few hours if possible
  • Do not wash the area for at least 2 to 4 hours after scalp treatments
  • Avoid touching or picking at any active breakouts

First 24 hours

This is your barrier repair window. The skin is more permeable and responsive.

Do

  • Use a gentle, non foaming cleanser at night
  • Apply the hydrating or barrier serum we have recommended
  • Moisturise if your skin feels dry or tight
  • Use SPF 50 during the day

Avoid

  • Strong actives: acids, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, high dose vitamin C
  • Scrubs, cleansing brushes or exfoliating tools
  • Hot showers directly on the face, saunas, spas and steam rooms
  • Waxing or hair removal on the treated area
  • For scalp treatments
  • Avoid washing your hair for at least 24 hours
  • Do not apply dry shampoo, oils or styling products to the treated area that day

24 to 72 hours

What you may see

  • Acne lesions starting to dry and flatten
  • Redness and heat in rosacea or eczema areas reducing
  • Overall skin looking clearer and more even

Care

  • You can continue with gentle cleansing and barrier focused skincare
  • If your skin is comfortable, you can slowly re introduce any prescribed actives, spacing them out and watching for sensitivity
  • Keep daily SPF in place

Ongoing course of treatments

Cold and Hyper Plasma usually work best as a series, especially for acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and scalp concerns.

  • Stick to the frequency we have recommended
  • Keep your home care consistent between visits
  • Let us know if you start any new medications or topical prescriptions while in a course
