PlasmaPen is our dedicated Plasma Fibroblast device, used for focused collagen tightening and skin contraction in specific areas where structural lift is needed.

Treatments available

  • Cold Plasma Therapy (CAP and Ozone)
Calming, clarifying, antibacterial and barrier supportive.

  • Hyper Plasma Therapy
Regenerative argon based plasma that boosts oxygenation and supports gentle resurfacing for clarity and tone.

  • Diamond Plasma Resurfacing
Precision resurfacing for texture, pores, pigment irregularities and early lines with low thermal impact.

  • Plasma Infusion Therapies (Roller and Stamp)
Advanced serum infusion, texture refinement and scar support using plasma powered microchannel delivery.

  • Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening (PlasmaPen)
Targeted collagen tightening and skin contraction for areas such as eyelids, smoker’s lines, jawline, neck and specific irregularities.

advanced plasma treatment options

Our Advanced Plasma therapies can be customised as stand-alone treatments or combined with other services for enhanced results:

Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening (PlasmaPen)

Plasma Fibroblast is a targeted skin tightening treatment that uses a precise plasma arc at the surface to create controlled micro thermal points. This stimulates strong collagen contraction and remodelling in focused areas. It has more downtime than other Advanced Plasma options and is best suited for specific laxity or textural concerns.

Best for:

  • Eyelid and under eye crepiness
  • Fine lines around the mouth
  • Localised laxity on areas like jawline, neck or hands
  • Selected raised or textural scars (where clinically appropriate)

Fusion8 Diamond Plasma

Diamond Plasma Resurfacing

Diamond Plasma uses a diamond coated tip with controlled plasma energy to smooth and brighten the surface of the skin. It refines texture, softens the look of pores and improves pigment without the intensity of traditional resurfacing.

Best for:

  • Texture refinement and uneven tone
  • Superficial acne scarring and post inflammatory marks
  • Fine lines and early photoaging
  • Neck, chest and hands rejuvination

Cold Plasma Therapy (Ozone)

Cold Plasma works to calm irritation, reduce acne bacteria and restore barrier health. It’s ideal for acne, rosacea, reactive skin, folliculitis and even fungal nails. It can also be applied to the scalp to improve balance and support long-term follicle health.

Best for:

  • Acne & breakouts
  • Rosacea, redness & reactive skin
  • Scalp balance (dandruff, folliculitis, congestion)
  • Fungal nails / sterilisation support

Hyper Plasma Regenerative Therapy

Hyper Plasma delivers high energy, low thermal plasma to regenerate the skin in a gentle, controlled way. It supports oxygenation, reduces inflammation and improves clarity without compromising the barrier. Ideal when you want visible improvement with minimal downtime or heat.

Best for:

  • Redness, dullness and post acne marks
  • Early textural changes and enlarged pores
  • SSensitive or reactive skin that is not ready for stronger resurfacing
  • Maintenance between deeper treatments such as Needling or Diamond Plasma

Plasma Infusion Therapies (Roller & Stamp)

Plasma-powered rollers and stamps deliver active serums deeper into the skin without needles. These treatments refine texture, target acne scarring and pigmentation, and strengthen the skin barrier over a series of sessions.

Best for:

  • Texture refinement & luminosity
  • Acne scarring & post-inflammatory marks
  • Pigmentation & uneven tone
  • Long-term skin strengthening (course recommended)

Advanced plasma skin treatment general FAQ's

Advanced Plasma treatments use innovative plasma energy to rejuvenate the skin, calm inflammation and deliver active ingredients deeper. At North Skin, we use Fusion8 technology which combines Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP), Ozone Plasma and Argon Plasma for targeted results.

Plasma can support acne and breakouts, redness and rosacea, sensitivity and barrier issues, pigmentation and sun damage, uneven texture, mild laxity, certain types of scarring, scalp congestion and selected microbial concerns such as folliculitis or fungal nails.

Cold, Hyper and most Infusion treatments have little to no downtime, you may notice some temporary redness or tightness. Diamond Plasma can cause light flaking for a few days. Plasma Fibroblast has a longer recovery with visible dots and swelling while the skin repairs.

Some concerns respond well to a single visit, others such as acne, texture, pigmentation and scarring work best over a structured series. Your practitioner will map out a plan based on your skin, goals and how you prefer to pace treatments.

Yes, when performed by trained practitioners. Plasma is non-invasive and suitable for most skin types, however there are some circumstances where treatment is not recommended. Your suitability will always be assessed at consultation.

You may not be able to have Plasma therapy if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Have active skin infections, open wounds, or sunburn in the treatment area

  • Are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy

  • Have uncontrolled diabetes or impaired wound healing

  • Have a history of keloid scarring

  • Have a pacemaker or certain implanted medical devices

  • Have used isotretinoin (Roaccutane) within the past 6–12 months

  • Have had recent injectables, surgery, or other resurfacing procedures in the same area (your practitioner will guide safe timing)

Absolutely. Plasma therapies are often combined with Plasma fibroblast (PlasmaPen), or cosmetic acupuncture for enhanced outcomes. Cold Plasma can also be used to support healing after more intensive treatments.

Most people find Cold Plasma comfortable, with a tingling or warm sensation. Warm Plasma may feel slightly more stimulating but is generally well tolerated. Infusion therapies feel similar to a light rolling or stamping.

You may notice immediate improvements in clarity and brightness, with collagen-stimulating benefits continuing to build over 6–12 weeks. With proper skin care, results can last months, and maintenance sessions will extend them further.

Yes. Cold and Ozone Plasma can help balance the scalp, reduce dandruff, folliculitis and support hair restoration programs. Plasma can also be applied to areas like the chest, hands or back to address pigmentation, scarring and stretch marks.

Plasma Fibroblast (PlasmaPen) is a non-surgical skin tightening treatment. It creates tiny, controlled plasma arcs/abrasions on the skin’s surface, leaving visible carbon crusts that contract the tissue and stimulate collagen. This makes it ideal for lifting eyelids, tightening wrinkles and treating sagging skin, with results that can last years.

Warm Plasma (Argon), on the other hand, is a gentler rejuvenation treatment. It uses thermal plasma energy to stimulate new collagen, brighten pigmentation and refine texture, without creating crusts or the same level of downtime. Results are more subtle and typically require a course of treatments for best outcomes.

PlasmaPen = lifting, tightening, big changes, downtime.
Warm Plasma = rejuvenation, brightening, low downtime.

Cold Plasma focuses on bacteria, inflammation and barrier support. Hyper Plasma focuses on regeneration, oxygenation and gentle resurfacing. Diamond Plasma combines a diamond resurfacing tip with plasma energy for more visible texture and pigment refinement. Your practitioner will choose one or combine them based on what your skin needs most.
