Pre Event Glow Aftercare
(Diamond Plasma and Hyper Plasma glow treatments)
Your Pre Event Glow treatment is designed to give you smooth, bright, bouncy skin with little to no downtime. We work on circulation, surface texture and hydration so makeup sits better and the skin looks fresh in real life and in photos.
Most people leave a little pink, which settles over a few hours. The best glow usually appears from the next day and keeps improving for two to three days.
At a glance
- Downtime: very minimal. A few hours of mild redness for most people
- Best timing: one to three days before your event
- Key rules: keep it gentle, keep it hydrated, protect with SPF, avoid anything harsh
Right after treatment
What you may notice
- Pink or flushed skin
- Mild warmth or tightness
- Subtle plumpness and glow
Care
- Avoid touching your face as much as possible that day
- Keep the skin product free for at least two to four hours
- If you have an evening event on the same day, wait until the skin has fully cooled before applying light makeup
- If you are outdoors at all, apply mineral SPF once the skin has settled
Avoid for the rest of the day
- Exercise that makes you sweat heavily
- Hot yoga, saunas, spas and steam rooms
- Hot showers directly on the face
- Strong active products, scrubs or at home devices
First 24 hours
This is the time to be kind to your skin so the glow can build without irritation.
Do
- Cleanse at night with a gentle, non foaming cleanser and lukewarm water
- Pat dry with a soft, clean towel
- Apply a simple hydrating serum or the post treatment product we recommended
- Follow with a light moisturiser if your skin feels dry or tight
- Use SPF fifty the next morning, even if the weather looks overcast
Avoid
- Products with acids, retinol, prescription vitamin A or strong vitamin C
- Scrubs, exfoliating pads, cleansing brushes or home tools
- New products you have never patch tested before
If you are planning a spray tan, the safest plan is either to have it before your Pre Event Glow or at least 24 hours after, once the skin has fully settled.
One to three days after treatment
This is when most people see their best result.
- Skin tone looks brighter and more even
- Makeup sits more smoothly and grips better
- Fine texture and mild congestion look softer
Care in this window
- Keep using gentle, hydrating products
- Continue daily SPF and avoid deliberate tanning
- You can wear full makeup on event day as usual, ideally applied with clean brushes or sponges
You can slowly return to your normal skincare after event day, reintroducing active products one at a time and watching for any sensitivity.
What to avoid in the week of your event
To protect your results and avoid surprise reactions close to an important day, try not to book or start any of the following in the same week as your Pre Event Glow:
- Strong chemical peels
- Skin needling or plasma fibroblast
- At home peels or high strength exfoliants
- New retinol or prescription vitamin A
- First time injectables that you have never had before
Keep treatments that involve more downtime for another time when you are not working around photos and special events.
When to contact the clinic
Although Pre Event Glow treatments are very low risk, contact us promptly if you notice:
- Redness that is getting worse rather than settling
- Heat, burning or stinging that is uncomfortable
- A new rash, hives or breakout that feels unusual for your skin
We can then guide you on the next step and whether you need to see your doctor.
