Plasma Fibroblast Aftercare
(Upper and lower eyelids, crows feet, forehead, peri oral, neck, body, scars, stretch marks)
Your Plasma Fibroblast treatment creates controlled micro trauma at the skin’s surface to trigger collagen, tightening and resurfacing. The tiny dots you can see are intentional. They need to stay dry, clean and undisturbed while your skin repairs underneath.
Full healing on the surface usually takes 7 to 10 days for face, and up to 14 days for body areas. Deeper collagen remodelling continues for 8 to 12 weeks.
At a glance
- Downtime: 5 to 10 days of visible dots, redness and possible swelling
- Key rules: Keep it dry, do not pick, avoid heat and sweat, SPF 50 every day
- Sleep: Slightly elevated for the first few nights if swelling is present
- Products: Use only what we have recommended until all dots have shed
Day 1: Right after treatment
What you will see and feel
- Visible carbon dots in the treated area
- Warmth, tightness and sensitivity
- Possible swelling starting to build, especially around eyes
What to do
- Keep the area completely dry
- Do not cleanse over the treated area on day 1
- Use the healing gel we provided at night only, as instructed
- Avoid touching the area unless your hands are freshly washed
What to avoid
- Makeup on the treated area
- Any skincare with acids, retinol, vitamin C, scrubs or active ingredients
- Exercise, saunas, spas, steam rooms, hot showers directly on the area
- Direct sun or heat
Days 2 to 5: Peak swelling and crusting
This is the “it looks worse before it looks better” phase. It is normal.
What you may notice
- Swelling peaking days 2 to 3, especially around eyes
- Carbon dots looking darker and a little raised
- Tightness, mild itching and a feeling of dry “crusting”
Care routine
Morning
- Gently cleanse around the area with a soft cloth or cotton pads, avoiding soaking the dots
- Pat dry carefully
- Apply a very thin layer of healing gel if advised for morning, otherwise leave dry
- Apply mineral SPF 50 over and around the area before any exposure to daylight
Night
- Gently spot cleanse if needed, avoiding rubbing
- Apply healing gel as directed
- Sleep slightly elevated on an extra pillow, especially for eye treatments
Absolute “no” list in this phase
- Do not pick, scratch, rub or help the dots off
- No makeup, foundation or concealer directly over the treated area
- No heavy sweating workouts, hot yoga, saunas, spas or swimming pools
- No active skincare on or near the area
- No fake tan on the treated area
Days 5 to 10: Shedding and new skin
The carbon dots will start to shed on their own. Underneath is fresh, new skin that needs protection.
What you may see
- Dots flaking off in tiny patches
- Pink fresh skin underneath
- Mild dryness or texture as collagen begins to remodel
Care routine
- Continue gentle cleansing and patting dry
- Switch to a simple, non-fragranced hydrating routine around the area
- Keep using healing gel at night if the skin still feels tight or dry
- SPF 50 every morning, reapply if you are outdoors
- You can usually introduce light mineral makeup once all dots have naturally shed and there is no open or weeping skin
After day 10: Protect and support your results
- Keep SPF 50 as a non negotiable, daily habit
- Avoid direct, unprotected sun on the treated area for at least 4 weeks
- Delay any other strong treatments on the same area (peels, needling, laser, waxing) for 4 to 6 weeks unless we have planned it with you
- You can gradually re introduce actives like vitamin C and retinol, starting low and slow
Possible side effects
Mild side effects that can be normal in the first days:
- Redness, heat and tightness

Contact the clinic urgently if
- You see spreading redness that feels hot, painful or looks “angry”
